![]() ![]() It truly utilizes the full amount of space between the top of the leaf pack and the bottom of the bed. The purpose is to allow the maximum amount of drop in the rear, and not have to make any modifications to the vehicle. Anything over 1.5" would require bending, cutting or hammering of the bed seam since it would interfere with the top of the leaf pack which could potentially create cancerous rust or structural integrity. These shackles have been designed specifically for people who want to lower the rear of the truck without having to modify the pinch weld or bed seam on any 11-19 GM 2500/3500! **These are 100% drop in, no modifications required to the truck!** It will lower the rear 1.4”. ![]() However, you will experience a slightly firmer ride in the rear! They will not work on the 1500 Pickup unfortunately. This will not harm anything as they are designed to do so. These helper springs have a separate bump stop and when you lower the rear of the truck, it reduces the gap between the helper springs and bump stops, which leads to them gently resting against each other. The difference between the 25 is, the 3500 has a set of helper springs stacked on top of the traditional 2500 leaf pack. ***For the 2020-2022’s we highly suggest looking at our other listing for the 3/4” drop shackles specifically designed and made for those trucks! The 1.4” will drop it more than most prefer and does require a small ear to be trimmed off the pinch weld.*** These can be used on the 3500HD single wheel or dual rear wheel application as they share the same shackle. This lowering shackle set will fit any GMC or Chevy 2500HD pick up truck from 2011-2022 gas or diesel. ![]()
